Financial Impact:
The funds for this position are in FY 25/26 Budget Unit 40121, and the salary for the position at Range 48, Step B is $44.05/hr. The Department currently has five (5) vacancies in this position which has created salary savings in the current budget year.
Background Information:
This candidate has extensive clinical experience in acute & chronic healthcare. This experience includes delivering services to diverse populations. She also has experience educating clients & employees. Additionally, the candidate is bilingual and has experience translating in clinical settings.
If the requested action is not approved, the County will lose the opportunity to hire a highly qualified applicant in this position. The Department has had eight (8) failed recruitments in the previous calendar year and currently has five (5) vacancies.
The Personnel Office has reviewed the candidate’s qualifications and agrees with placement at Salary Range 48, Step B upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.
